The day before the Young Life camp began, a group of Americans and Czechs went to a nearby lake to go swimming in the cold, rainy weather. Nonetheless, we had a ton of fun and miraculously none of us drowned on our half-mile swimming excursion. We were trying to swim to the island in the center of the lake, but we decided not to keep the people on the shore waiting for to much longer.
